Yay Started Chemo, Finally.

Hi Ladies,

Well after last weeks delay, we had another hurdle on Tues again..............  2 Nurses couldn't find a vein and had to postphone chemo again to Wednesday so that they could insert a Picc Line ( I've named Bert & Ernie :o)

So, Wednesday I got the Picc Line and then wheeled straight into Day Care for the Chemo.  I think I am the only person on earth that wanted to get Chemo done. 

It was pretty freaky watching the nurse injecting 4 needles of red stuff (Fec) into my arm.  I was jealous that I didn't get a black bag, like everyone else in the room :o)

I felt a little off the first night, I didn't take the back up anti-nausia tabs early enough, Doh!!  But have learnt, as soon as the head ache comes, so does the yucky tummy. 

Feeling ok today, just a little tired every now and then.  Might have to indulge in a Nanna nap this arvy.  :o))
