yay home

hi everyone finally i'm home after my mastectomy and reconstruction the surgery went well with only 1 little hic up and of course it was an allergy but they jumped on it straight  away with quarter zone...... i am now the proud owner of purkey pamela and droopy dora.....lol......i now have an appointment with the oncologist on monday to see the course of treatment chemo then radiation or visa versa .....then once that is all over i will have a nipple made then the tatooing so there you are all up to date..........happy happy dance i'm home

    Was wondering how you were getting on.  Good to "hear" laughter in your "voice".   Keep up the good work.  It's funny how we find out about our allergies but it is something for you to keep in your diary and records for any later issues.  I'm off to have surgery on tuesday (portacath insertion) then stay overnight in hospital to commence chemo on Wednesday.  I am trying to stay ultra POSITIVE so that I don't get sick.  I'm off to have reflexology and acpuncture tomorrow as a risk measure.  Take care and rest up.     yes i too have my drainage tubes but my reconstruction looks great  besides being sore i feel pretty good i spent 8 days in the hospital but felt fine by day 5 it was only the allergy that kept me there .....looks like it could have been that  brown stuff they paint all over you while your in surgery ......but anyway i'm good now

    good luck for monday you will be happy with the outcome xxxx
