hi everyone finally i'm home after my mastectomy and reconstruction the surgery went well with only 1 little hic up and of course it was an allergy but they jumped on it straight away with quarter z...

so today i went to my first appointment with an oncologist she wants me to totally recover from the surgery before we start chemo to avoid any infections......she was lovely and explained every little detail to me and answered all the questions in plain english to make sure i was at ease with her........i only have to have 4 cycles of the chemo and i may not have to have the radiation.......so by the sounds of it i was very lucky i went to the doctors when i did .......she also said my type of breast cancer is if your going to get it its the one to get she also said its 70% curable .......whopeeeeeeeeee........happy happy happy dance ....so for the next few weeks i'm going to get myself strong and give my body the best possible chance
