Hope this helps. - onemargieMemberHi there I was diagnosed in May 16 with TNBC grade 3 (3cm turmor) stage 2a no lymph nodes involved and a scans all clear. I had 4 rounds of AC and 4 rounds of taxol two weeks apart. I finished chemo in oct 2016. I haven’t been given any post chemo meds to take and will see the oncol again next month. I will ask him them about it. I’m positive I would of been prescribed it then if I needed it or is it a new medication?? Margie. Xx
- voluntyMemberThanks @Tennille - a friend with a similar diagnosis to mine, but who had neoadjuvant chemo, looks like being prescribed it as part of her treatment for primary TNBC. That's a relatively new protocol as far as I can make out so we were interested in any examples. So sorry you suffered on it, treatments are minefield of side effects! All best wishes and luck for Eribulin.
- Jen001MemberI've sent you a PM.
- TennilleMemberI was put on Xeloda for TNBC but turns out I am part of the small population that cant metabolise it. I was really unwell for 4 days so came straight off it. I have mets to liver and bones so I am now on Eribulin.
