Just had the most wonderful experience of being present at the birth of my first grandchild, a gorgeous little girl with a headful of dark hair. Such a great distractor from my recent op to reinforce rod in femur that snapped without warning, all consequence of secondaries in bones. xx
When my other daughter finally gets around to transferring all the pics from her phone to my computer I will then post some of baby girl, Ahri LeeAnne! She is just so gorgeous ... but then I am probably biased!!

Thanks Leonie. I am definitely enjoying my precious little Ahri. Hope you don't need your 'Penny' again! What is Breast Wishes? Haven't heard of that. Sounds like fun. Took my daughter to see Motherhood the Musical when she was 7 months pregnant; nearly turned her off! But she is doing really well. I am so proud of her.

Congratulations Julie. I have a little granddaughter who is 3 and a half and a little grandson who is one. They are the love of my life and the reason to keep on living a very good life. You will be forever in love with your little one. Enjoy her XLeonie

Congratulations on becoming a grandmother (whatever name you might have!) and I have to second your thoughts. Three weeks ago I had the same incredibly positive experience the day before my first chemo treatment and I suspect that the adrenaline rush (and all the cuddles) helped me to 'breeze' through that one! I also have a gorgeous granddaughter but she has a headful of white blonde hair!!
