It seems since I got that phone call telling me a mass had been detected in my mammogram I have had to be patient.

Yeah Christmas time sucks. Diagnosed 21/12/12
I hope your care is now progressing. That 2 weeks wait is not good especially when you need to be in control.
Sadly there is a saying that when you come into a hospital, control and dignity fly out of the window. that is not to say that you have no say, just that timing and other aspects of your care revolve around others; when you have appointments, treatments and so on.
I have resolved that this year for me is about trying to go with the flow. Keep control of what you can. Your emotions, your feelings, your family and your home and friends. What you lose with the BC side of things, make up for yourself in other ways. Dedicate an hour a day of your life to what you want. be selfish. Be happy
