Worse Christmas Ever

Hi ladies, I hope you all had a lovely christmas, sorry to say I had the worse xmas of my life, which I spent vomiting, shivering and coughing locked away in my bedroom for the entire day. Can't believe I have not been sick one little bit throughout my 5 chemos so far and it had to happen on Christmas day! I thought I would let it run its course and yesterday I was back to normal but today am back coughing badly and feeling crap. I am thinking that this has to run its course but due to the fact that I have metatastic cancer that has coem back in lungs I do wonder if I should consult hospital. I just hate the fact that they immediately think the worse and would absolutely hate to be told a stay in hospital was on the cards. I fear that you get more illnesses in the hospital!! Anyway ladies, I sincerely hope you and your families all had a wonderful christmas xxxxxNatalie

    Isn't it just the way -the one day you want to enjoy with family and you cop it big time.So sorry to hear you are still not well.My daughter had a vomit/flu thing 2 weeks before xmas and she's still got a cough -nasty virus going around?I guess if you have a temperature along with your cough then you should (unfortunately)do the right thing and confess! Hope you turn the corner soon.

    I too am sorry to hear that you are feeling so unwell.Perhaps it is better to check with your oncologist.Better to be sure.I hope you are on the mend soon. xoxo. Robyn

    What a way to spend Christmas Day you poor love. Perhaps you can have another day with your loved ones in lieu. Make it on a day you are feeling well and make it a special day just for you. I do hope you pick up soon but if not it might be best to be on the safe side and consult your oncologist. Sending you big hugs and wishing you wellness. Love Janey xxx
