thanks girls for all the ideas, love and support. I went to the skin clinic yesterday with an itchy freckle - turned out to be nothing sinister, just an age spot ! thanks, I needed to be reminded I'm nearly 61.
I will go to my GP, my h has a bad head cold and I think mine is just as you;ve said - a cold that sits in your chest and doesn't really do anything else. But I will ask about it and be settled.
