worried
well it has been an interesting week. i have been crook. finally got in to see a Doctor not my own mind, he reckons i have bronchial asthma which is why i cough till i choke. so he put me on 4 hourly...
hi fran, there does seem ongoing ordeals after BC .i used to hate all the tests / blood tests/ visits to doctors etc.
over the years things have settled down for me with yearly mammograms and ultrasounds, plus bloods also for checks, ( normal over 50 and 55 checks etc)
i did go through a " rough" patch. it has taken over 10 years to get back on track. life is never really the " same" again.
it changes, and i have adjusted now finally, and try and accept what life throws at me and deal with it. this is not always easy though. i have also had some blessings on the way too.
i had a cough/ virus last spring and the doctor i saw also said.. take ventolin, which i have never had before. i tried it a couple of times, it helped a bit, but not sure if it was asthma.
just lately i have been having some chest/ arm pains on walking up hill. so i am having a stress test on heart on monday next week. and my cholesterol is up, so i am on low does aspirin, just started. i feel a little better already. i am going to have to do a low cholesterol diet and exercise etc. i want to be around for a few years yet, hopefully!
of course ageing comes into it too. we are all getting older.
sorry about your friend dying recently and i hope the live enzyme test is looked at soon.
i guess it would be scary with a strong family history of ovarian cancer and breast cancer. thankyou for the blog.
cheers for now, sending peace to you and a hug, kathy.
