woop woop

Just thought i would create a blog to say i finished my chemo today woop woop.

Have had 4 ac and 12 weekly Taxols.Now still Herceptin 3 weekly and 6 and a half weeks of radiation to go!

But am doing well and cant believe i have done 6 months of this ride and with a 7 hour round trip for treatments,it has taken it out of me but i feel like i am on the home run now!

We are all so strong to go through this and still keep our families running and to support those around us! Keep up the good work everyone!!!!

    So good to hear that you got through your treatment  I have just had one AC so have three more AC and then 12 weekly TAXol to go   I am a bit worried about Taxol as I dont know what to expect  I have to drive for over an hour for treatment and it scares me a bit that I am so far from the hospital if anything goes wrong  It is so good to be able to communicate with others as I live alone and though my daughter looks after me very well I do not want to burden her with my worries as she has a young family to look after as well as me

    well done!!!  You have endured so much, especially with all that travelling..good luck with the next phase before you can say you REALLY finished

    Rest up as much as possible..always thinking of my other BC comrades

    Congrats Annie-you are amazing! Infact we are all pretty amazing on this site with what we've had to endure.The travelling for radiation treatment each day will be a pain for you but the actual treatment is nowhere near as hard as chemo.So yes,I think you are on the home stretch now.Once your hair starts growing you won't feel like a "cancer"patient anymore. Wishing you good health now for the coming months.
