Woohoo I made it! I turn 50 today! Who would have thought that I would have made it this far? Like last year, I get to spend my birthday at the hospital. Unlike last year, that was filled with trepidation and fear, this year I look forward to seeing all the wonderful people I have met, both other patients and staff. I look forward to putting a smile on someone's face who is feeling like I was 12 months ago and giving them hope. I still have my issues and problems, like everyone, but today life is just wonderful. I get to spend the day with the people I love most in this world (ooh and there will be presents too! Always a bonus)

You're my inspiration! I'm newly diagnosed (had two surgeries already, not sure if there's another), still have chemo to do. I'll be 50 in 18months time and I can't wait to party!
