Thanks so much for your comments, Deanne. If this post helps just one woman feel more confident in her decision then it will have been worth the time it took to write it.
It sounds like you're in a similar situation to mine insofar as having great advice and support from your medical team. It makes such a difference to our state of mind when we can be confident with our choices.
