Who is in charge of my care?

Cas, The trip you have had so far is pretty bad. I live at mt warren park, so halfway between the Gold Coast and brisbane and by the sounds of it glad I chose the PA hospital over a Gold Coast one. I have a breast care nurse who saw me at my first visit to the hospital in September and has been with me every step of the way. I realise now how lucky I have been. She organised my oncology appointment, physio to visit me after surgery for advanced exercises, free bra and insert after my mastectomy, and the community nurses to visit me daily after my surgery until my drain was removed. I have not had to worry about anything. She has called regularly to check on me as well. I am so sorry things have been tough for you and hope communication and services get better from now on.
