Who is in charge of my care?
Can someone tell me who is supposed to be in charge of my care throughout my diagnosis and treatment? Is it the surgeon or does the hospital take over or what?

Hi Cas I take it you are talking about dr John gault? I have my double mastectomy on Friday and just seeing the nurse tomorrow. I've had a bad experience at pindara before so I'm starting to get anxiety issues now so had to get some chill pills off my go last night. My go is absolutely rubbish, not one call from them and when I went last night she asked if I was there because I'd been sent by my surgeon, when I said no I just was quite nervous about the surgery etc and wanted to chat she seemed a bit shocked! as soon as I'm up to it I'd love to meet up with you, we can be support for each other and anyone else on the coast xxx ps if they think they are kicking me out of hospital after 2 days if I didn't feel ok they have another thing coming! xx
