Who I Am
I'm a mother of two gorgeous girls.
I have friends all over the world whom I love like family, and family who are my best friends.
I love the written word, ribald jokes, swearing like a trucker and em...
Hi Lu
I couldn't stop reading your blog and yes I did cry. I cried for you, your babies, all the other ladies dealing with this disease and for a change I also cried for me. I class myself as one of the lucky ones in that my diagnosis is not as serious as yours or as serious as a lot of the ladies out there. I have still suffered but no way near to degree you all have.
You are brave, but as you say you don't have to be a hero, you just have to get in there and fight for your life and fight for the life you want to share with your babies. You are obviously strong and determined and oh yeah don't forget cranky. :-)
You so very much deserve that they get to work and find a cure to help you fight this mongrel of a disease so you can be here to see your children and your grandchildren grow up and to be able to say stick that up your pipe and smoke it you ain't taking me anywhere yet.
You go girlfriend and you fight with all the strength you can muster to get through this. I sincerely wish hope and pray ( I don't normally pray) for you that you can get off this rolla coaster and get to live a good and well deserved happy life :-)
LOL and best wishes
Mich xoxo
