Hi Tracey,
Glad to see that you are almost 3/4 of the way through your chemo already. This year is going so quickly already that I can't keep up!! You must be so pleased that you should only have 3 more treatments to go :)
Good luck with the Bondronat - I didn't have to have that so can't give you any advice on that one I'm afraid! Hopefully you will sail through it.
I have been a bit up and down since I finished the chemo. I had a period a week or so ago after not having one for 3 months and it was seriously heavy. A bit scary really because I've never been that heavy before and wasn't sure if it was a side affect from the Tamoxifen or not. I have had a pelvic ultrasound and get the results tomorrow but the radiologist did tell me that I have some fibroids which are distorting the edge of my uterus which could be causing the excessive bleeding and I've also got a small lesion on one of my ovaries. I really didn't want to hear about a "small lesion on my ovary"! Now I'm paranoid that there will be a problem there.....the radiologist didn't seem concerned but anyting worries me these days!
I had my MRI on my liver the other day too. They found a shadow on my liver last August when they did a CT scan but couldn't do the MRI until now because of the tissue expander that I had (it had a magnet in it). Just got the results on that this morning and it was all clear - yay!!
Anyway, take care and speak to you again soon,
Louise x
