Hi Louise, nice to hear I am not so alone. I have good days and bad days with it and you never know quite what it will be like each day. Most of the time it is croaky but if someone doesn't hear me I think I tend to start straining it. Today it hasn't been too bad, but as soon as it dries out it goes croaky again. Just frustrating because I am normally not a loud person either but can be heard. Now i have to pput more effort in it.
I am having my 6th treatment next Thursday (7th April). We have discussed that I may actually have 8 treatments all up. I am seeing my oncologist later that same afternoon to discuss it further. I am working on the theory of 8 so I should be finished by about 18th May. I think he will fo with 8.
I am also having my first Bondronat by IV on the 7th and I am feeling a bit wary of that. I have heard a lot of people say that when you have bisphosphonates by IV the first one hits you like a truck. So I will have to wait and see.
How have you been going since you finished your chemo? Hope all is well with you.
Thanks again.
Tracey
