My suggestion is to contact the Cancer Council Helpline in Queensland, as they can help in a wide range of areas, including accomodation and support, while you are undergoing your treatment.
In Queensland they are open from 8.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday and can be contacted on 13 11 20 (the cost is a local phone call).
Cancer Council Queensland, also has accomodation options for those who have to travel from a regional area for treatment, which may be of interest to you.
