Welcome to the club.
I remember being where you are now and asking the same thing. The advice I got was to get my pathology report from the GP and research everything on it. I looked at cancer sites and forums.
I then did the same with treatment, but during treatment I just let it all happen.
For me this was great advice. I felt increasingly in control and informed at my appointments.
