The shock is awful, and we have all been there and understand. It's good that things are moving quickly for you - the roller coaster has started and it's easiest to just take one day at a time. You are going to be very busy for the next few months.
Have you asked for a "My Journey" kit from this website? It is invaluable for information, comfort, appointments, schedules, and just knowing you are not alone and there is a lot of support from BCNA. Just go to the New Diagnosis heading at the top of the page, and you will see the box to order your kit. It is such a help.
Everything happens quite fast after diagnosis, so go with the flow and try not to stress too much. The Cancer Council has meditation cd's which are good for teaching relaxation techniques when you start to feel a bit panicky - sometimes at night.
