Where to get headwear?

If you are after a wig, Melbourne has a place called Creative wigs and you can order on line.  My mum gets her wigs from there.

I'm not a huge fan of wigs and have never worn one before this but they're great for when you want to go under the radar.  Scarves are really easy to tie - there's complicated designs but I've kept with the simple.  Using a long rectangle (it has to be wide enough to cover your head)...start by centring it across the front covering a little of your forehead.  Take the sides down and tie (half knot) at the back of your head then bring the ends back around to the front, twisting them as you do it.  Tie again over your forehead then, still twisting, take the ends back and tuck them under the first twisted parts.  Or you can tie it slightly lopsided and either tuck the final ends so you have more of a bulge on one side, or let them hang free.

Thank you @sister and everyone. Really appreciate it. I’ll check out Kmart tomorrow. Hopefully I can borrow a couple of caps and scarfs and find some too. I haven’t ever been able to make scarves look good but I’ll give it a crack. I’m not keen on wearing a wig (yet) as I think I’d scratch and move it over my head or wear it backwards (I’m not even kidding- I’ve worn different height shoes to work before).

Hello @wren71 you could call your state Cancer Council on 13 11 20.  Its a national number and when you call you will get your local cancer information service.  Sometimes they have chemo caps, turbans and beanies that have been made by volunteers and will send them out for no cost.

Hi @wren71  I wore a lot of scarves - some I was given, some I had, and others were from op shops.  Long or large squares, wrapped around as turbans.  I was also fortunate enough to be given a number caps and a bob-style dark wig from @Molly001 that I am no longer using.  I'll pm you!
