Whats this taste

I have had my first treatment 5 days in and so far everyday i get the same taste in my mouth, my urine smells the same is this the drugs - its not metallic its a - dont know how to describe...

Hi Jody, As the chemo affects all fast growing cells the cells in the mouth get affected causing the bad taste. Although its commonly said to be metallic thats not how I would have described mine. It really changes what food and drink you like and dislike and you might just have to experiment. I found Fruit Tingles to be good!All the bestFiona
