I had the same thing with the surgeon, only saw him for the surgery and the bad news I needed more surgery and then that surgery. All others were trainee doctors which I was a bit worried about until I mentioned a swelling under my arm. Bang! Surgeon was there. They may not see you all of the time but when something is amiss, the good ones arent far away, just a bit busy sometimes. :)
