What's the point.......?
Why do we have medical oncologists? Are they just dispensers of drugs? I've had 3 appointment with 3 different med oncs. They haven't looked at my records, they didn't know what went before, I doubt t...
Very disappointing if that's been your experience. My oncologist and surgeon work closely, are both informative, interesting and communicative and I have valued their attention for nearly five years. Certainly they have been at pains to tell me what I should know, which can feel pretty brutal sometimes because they both feel it's important to give truthful information, but they are both good at answering questions and discussing matters - sometimes robust discussions! I think that's what most people hope for.
