Medical oncologists supervise chemo and hormone therapy - I did not have the former and tbh didn't think mine was interested after writing the script for Letrozole so yes kind of agree with you in my circumstance - had 2 visits and wondering why. Radiotherapy oncologist played more active role in my treatment - weekly meeting with me during radiotherapy treatment and very involved in the planning session . The oncologist coordinating was my surgeon who is wonderful and is the ongoing contact over the course of my treatment for next 5 years and am happy with that.
