You were very brave and that nurse should be reprimanded. I've had one nurse that I could have slapped her silly face and one receptionist who should have been in a different field of work. Not bad for the many many people I've come in contact with. These people can't possibly understand what it is like to be poked, prodded, jabbed, stabbed, and manhandled and perhaps they should be made to experience some of these procedures before they are allowed to nurse the patients having them.
I will say that on the whole everyone has been fantastic so please don't think it will always be like that woman. The ones who are really good easily make up for the ones who have shortcomings.
