I had 2 core biopsies at Breastscreen Chermside. These were done via ultrasound.
1. They were quite painless. Even the local was just a mild sting, and when it kicked in, i couldn't feel a thing.
2. I had mild discomfort for a few days.
3. The procedure was explained thoroughly.
4. I was well informed before the procedure. The doctor even explained what noise it was going to make.
5. I would undergo a core biopsy for research.
6. I found the experience ok, i was treated with respect and the doctor talked me through every detail as it was happening.
