I had 2 core biopsies under local aneasthetic and ultrasound.The radiography doctor was execellent,gentle and explained everything to me. I went in there expecting it to be very painful( from what I'd read and what others had told me) and to my surprise,I hardly felt anything.I had bruising afterwards and some discomfort- just took some panadol.It was done at a private radiology practice. I don't think I'd do it again for research as it's abit invasive and it could very well hurt to blazes next time!! Tonya xx
