What to share
Hi, Recently been diagnosed with secondaries in the Bones(Quite extensive). After total mastectomy, finishing Chemo, Radiation and 6 years of Hormone treatment. I decided to stop the Hormone medic...
Dear Shaz,
I am so sorry you have had to join the ranks of ABC women, but you will find good support through this site.
In regard to prognosis, it is important to remember we are all very different, even as we share the experience of secondaries. It is the uncertainty that is hard to live with; as Amanda has said in a post recently, nothing is black and white - we have to accept the shades of grey in between.
However, I understand that many women who have had a similar diagnosis, hormone receptive bone mets, have done very well. If you have to have any mets at all, these are the ones!!??!!
There are many of us "out there", living well and (hopefully) for a long time!
Best wishes.... Pam
