When I was diagnosed,my husband was very upset that I had to have chemo, but not actually against it like your husband.I am 59 years old,and pride myself on my fitness, however, when it comes to cancer,no amount of healthy eating and exercise/meditation etc.is going to cure the cancer.I always thought, that because I have never driven a car(therefore I walk and ride ) never smoke or drink alcohol, and only eat very healthy food(no sugar amongst other things) that I would never get cancer. But as we know,it is much more than that. However, eating well and exercising, will definitely help with your treatment.I know there are people that suffer through chemo and radiation, through no fault of their own,but I believe that generally speaking, your good health will assist you. I had a mastectomy, followed by chemo.I have pretty much sailed through it.I am very fortunate, but I like to think, that a good part of it was because of my health before I started.I wish you all the best with your decision.I don't think people should pressure you at a time like this.It is hard enough having cancer, let alone having to convince people that your decision is right for you. At this time, you need their support:) It's your body, your choice!! All the best Tanya.xoxo Robyn
