Are you having chemo first also, then op? Are you considering breast removal, then reconstruction later when cancer free?

Thanks Brenda I always love to hear others thoughts.

For some strange reason I'm not scared that cancer might come back, I have a feeling that Im going to be ok. However when the Dr tells me the reason I should consider mastectomy, I do have fear for a while, but can't help feeling Im going to be ok no matter what I choose. Strange hey, I think the feelings I keep getting and the Dr telling me all the scary details is what is making my decision hard. Do I believe them or me.

Brenda I have had type 1 diabetes for 40 yrs, and when minor things have occurred, I look after my self better and think positive. Nothing major has gone wrong apart from cancer, Im thinking because of my diabetes, cancer does not scare me, it is just another illness that needs to be concurred. Although because of what the Dr says, I do have a little doubt come up when I think of lumpectomy.

I have til the end of the week to decide
