Hi Michelle - I read your post to Brenda and your comment about Type 1 diabetes. I had a sister in law who was type 1 from the age of 9 and I have a nephew who is also type 1.
Diabetes can make medical issues a little more challenging.
I've had a mastectomy with expander and implant and very happy. It is a personal choice and a decision that you will come to and I am sure be very comfortable with.
