- MoondeerMemberThanks for the tips ladies - have purchased some moo goo and will see how it unfolds from there
- kezmuscMemberMoo goo is the bomb alright. @Lulu28 my skin held up to about number 22 out of 30. I used solosite for the peeling bits and a bit of Manuka honey gold cream. The solosite takes the sting out of it. Then after you finish you can use Flamazine (can't use it during as it has silver in it) I healed really fast with this.
All the best. - Lulu28MemberI am on day 18 of my 30 treatments of radiation and was advised all I needed was sorbolene. I am red, itchy, burnt and peeling. I might go check out this moogoo as I have previously used it on my daughters eczema and it was a fantastic product. I have advised my doc that I have switched to weleda calendula cream and I think I'm actually healing?? A bit confused as I cant really find pics of similar things on the net and I am not getting much feedback at hospital. Good Luck with your treatment.
- KatyJoyMemberI used moo goo skin milk udder cream. About half way through ( I had 25 fractions) I got really red and itchy so I swapped to moo goo eczema/ psoriasis cream which I found great. I still got burned but not as badly as some I saw. I had to use solugel when my skin was broken with dressings that the nurse gave me. The nurses gave me sorbolene cream to use at the beginning but I found it just sat on top of my skin, and didn’t really soak in. For me the moo goo was so much better.
- Doin_itMemberUse moogoo toothpaste too
- Doin_itMemberThe oncology pack is sold out, they’re expecting it to be back on their website on Aug 29. Very popular! I use the deodorant too. Works a treat
- SisterMemberYou can order the oncology pack online - I think it's $40. My hospital has okay'd the deodorant and the moisturiser ( but I'm trying the film at the moment).
- Fionap2017MemberThe moogoo cream is great and I also used the moogoo deodorant after surgery and during radiation. I’ve heard the company have a pack for cancer patients too.
- MoondeerMemberThanks for the suggestions !
- JoeyLizMemberHi @Moondeer as previously said your centre will give you a list of approved creams(with a range of prices). The moo goo is fantastic, QV is great, dermaveen. Mepitel film is great too.
Best wishes x
