What a disapointment

What a disspointment , wake up this morning very anxious as was the first appointment with the oncologist just to be informed that my appointment was post-poned for next week . Got me very upset as I was very eager to start my chemo and I hate this waiting game plus my hubby took a day off work to come with me at the appointment . I guess same things can not be helped but does not make it easy on us the patients, well they better not cancel the next one , as I just want this chemo started. I feel better now that i had my winge , thank you for listening. I guess the bonus was I got to spend the day with my husband having lunch and shopping and having an extended celebration of our 18 th wedding anniversary. cheers.

    Hi Monica, dont be disappointed, you ended up having a great time.

    It seems im always waiting for appointments and treatment.Also having times and days changed.It can get frustrating but its out of our hands so go with the flow and make something good out of it like you did.

    Good luck with your first chemo, its a very testing time on your strength.But as ive learnt you get an inner strength you never knew you had and you draw on this and get through it the best you can.
