Went on that trip ladies - AWESOME!
Hi Ladies - well I did it! I took myself and hubby for that long awaited trip! One of the things that helped me get through the chemo, radiation and herceptin - was that I promised myself we would take that trip to Tasmania - well we did! It took a bit of a stand up toe-to-toe with my doc, but off we went!
The seas were calm on both trips over and back, the weather was wonderful (only one day of rain) and many photos taken - well 1200 actually! and yes, 3 hours of movie! The photo you are looking at, was taken at a place in Hobart on the night of my 60th birthday! Note the lovely hair! Hair lots of (curly) hair! I caught up with one of our BCNA ladies and that was great.
We were gone for seven days - and the last two days was with relo's I hadn't seen for 39 years! They were wonderful and we had a great time - If any one wants to see pic's send me a msg here and I will 'friend you' on Facebook where the some of the photos are - enough (but not too many) to keep you interested!
By the way - our 'ratbag' neighbour was evicted - so we came home to peace and tranquility! (Yay!)
