Well I wasn't quite expecting this!

Yesterday I looked down and saw that I had peeled only on my nipple from rads! So weird I now have one brown nipple (normal) and one pink nipple! Otherwise skin is good. Cheryle :)

  • I had a minor bit of peeling under one breast, from my bra rubbing, but Radiation was such a breeze after the chemo - and it all returned to normal colour!  I have been fortunate.  Well done Cheryle, dont forget to have your arvo naps, so you give your body time to heal!  X Bel

  • This is the only peeling I have had. My tips would be the following: . Moisturise in the morning, straight after treatment and prior to going to bed . I used the hospital provided David Craig 100% pure Sorbelene cream and was advised to stick to this throughout rads . Moisturise after rads have finished but only on unbroken skin . Use a aluminium free deodorant for the duration of rads . A little bit of boob swelling might happen if so take off the bra. But I did manage to wear my comfy old underwire bra throughout rads It is a lot easier and quicker than chemo with minimal side effects, it does affect everyone differently. Probably the most tedious thing is the daily trip to and from rads. Best of luck with your radiotherapy it's one more step on the road to recovery. Cheryle :)
