@Mic80 I really wouldnt put too much energy into how you will be with Tamoxifen. Just focus on chemo first and a day at a time. We can never pre-empt how we will be with anything, just be open and most of all nurture you through it. I had 4yrs on tamoxifen and didnt notice anything really, but again that was pre menopause. 4yrs later another diagnosis, chemo and Arimidex and Aromasin is a different story for many reasons. You dont know until you try and see how you go, then you can work your way from there.
@"Kiwi Angel" said it exactly how it is for me now...don't sleep, constantly fatigued, in pain (which I believe is a combination of chemo, menopause and the AI) and I work full time so exercise is exacerbated and near impossible. The Professionals are great at telling you what you should do! lol but the reality is very very different. They have a very long way to go to get these medications even half reasonable for people to have quality of life. I work incredibly hard just to get up everyday and work, unfortunately theres not alot of choice...again something the professionals don't factor into survivorship.
So...all the best for treatment, go smash it!!! :) hugs M x
