Waiting

Hi everyone.Yesterday I found a sore lump in the lower part of my armpit.I reached up and realised that it hurt.I went to my GP this morning,feeling sure that he was going to say something like it's just a swollen gland.He felt it for ages,then he said,it doesn't seem mobile.And,It feels like a rib! He said I want you to get an ultrasound first thing Monday,and gave me a referral.I left his surgery feeling so upset and on the verge of tears.It really brought back to me the day I was diagnosed.I feel though,that it will be nothing sinister,but it's that horrible waiting thing again,and not knowing for sure.I will let you know tomorrow  how I get on.Cheers xoxRobyn

    Hi Robyn We have been 'on the road' so I did not see your post yesterday. Just as well because I would have been stressing out for you ! It is great to hear it is nothing of big concern. Thanks for posting about it, though, as when other ladies have a similar occurrence they won't go into immediate panic mode. Love and hugs Summer :-)

    Thank you everyone for your concern:) My ultrasound showed an enlarged lymph node but nothing to be concerned about I am told:) Phew,I breathe a sigh of relief and get on with it!!! Cheers xoxRobyn

    I have tried over 3 different ways to reply and give support to Robyn but absolutely no luck what so ever. I want to give Robyn some kind words of courage and understanding of her waiting period.
