Waiting....I hate the waiting

I do hope you don't get the bc recurring Leonie, it would be so awful after the treatment you have had.

I remember telling my partner that I don't want a mastectomy to be my first choice - to make it my last choice. Though the surgeon put the fear of God into me when he told me it (the cancer) was too close to my nipple and the nipple had to go regardless! Also with the DCIS it was a better option to remove my breast. (Well, he really said "you don't have a choice - it has to go")

I know it will be for the best and right now, am relieved that I can get a prosthesis quite quickly and easily. I don't think I will opt for the reconstruction Just wondering how to wear my new summer dresses I bought last summer with the lower cleavages!!! Oh well, perhaps a chamis underneath will look okay with them after all...
