Waiting for Monday

Hi Daina Results weren't great, 9mm tumor in node, had to go back in for dissection and more margin. That went well, good result, no more nodes involved. Chemo starts next week providing the seroma behaves itself. pretty nervous, trying to stay positive Thanks for checking in :-)

I remember going to Peter mac for the first time in nov 2012 l went to the car after and began to shake, I think it hit me then. This is real,now I'm at the 12month 1st scans and I think I can't believe the time has gone past me,your not alone your now part of us special group of pink sisters,take strength from all of us it's a great gang! Hi Michelle, Yes have received the My Journey Kit & have read quite a bit of it. I know from just being on here I am not alone which I do find very comforting at this stage. As you say once Monday has come I will have an idea as to where I am going. You have a lovely Mothers Day too x

The waiting is always the worst part and we understand how you are feeling. Once you have been to Peter Mac and have a program mapped out, you will feel more in control. Do you have a My Journey kit yet from this site? It is so helpful, and you will have something to hold on to when you read all the information. You are not alone on this journey. Its ok to be anxious, there is alot happening to you and alot to take in.

Its the wait till Monday that will be hard, try and keep busy to keep your mind occuppied. Enjoy Mothers Day on Sunday.
