Vomiting frequently
Hi all
Just wanting to put something "out there", to see if anyone has similar experience. I guess I can be called a survivor, as generally I'm almost back to being able to do stuff; however I do have a secondary that's remained unchanged for 5 years in my lower back. It hasn't spread of increased in size over that time, and I am on the aromatose inhibitor Arimidex, because my cancer is oestrogen reliant.
I am on a lot of other drugs for pain....already had a "dicky hip" which causes the most severe of my pain. My most recent bone scan showed "increased uptake" in a lot of areas, including my face, reporting evidence of arthritis. However, I seem to be suddenly vomiting a lot. I have this trouble with C1,2 & 3 in my spine, which causes pain, & if they are out of alignment, I just vomit! Today I went out to a market with a friend...I was feeling a bit nauseous all day, but got through the day. I've come home, had dinner, vacuumed, had my evening drugs, & chucked! Third instance of this in as many weeks. I'm over it! And it just keeps happening for about 5 or 6 hours till it's just dry retching and I'm exhausted.
No I haven't had any chemo or radiation to the spot in my back. Does anyone else experience this?
Cheers to all
Kathleen
