I had one of my operationg cancelled as I had had a bad cold and was trying to get rid of it with "natural tablets". Turned out lots of these natural things affect your blood clotting. Echynacea, ginger, to name a few. I know vit C is OK, but best to check with your surgeon. All fish oils and Red Krill oil also need to be stopped for the same reason.
