During this difficult time it is usual to have many questions, I found that the best thing was to listen to the advice of the experts and become well informed. It is always useful to discuss any concerns (eg the taking of immune boosters) with your oncologist. Remember no question is silly as if it is formed it is because you want to know. So do not be afraid to ask. All the best with your surgery be gentle with yourself and remember you are now a member of a club you may not have wished to join but nevertheless you are a member and as such are loved and supported.
