I think it was 6 months before I began to feel better but I was still quite weepy. I think you are doing everything right and therefore your going to feel better as I've found being proactive is the best thing.
I also have expanders in until mid May
and yes they are uncomfortable and feel so unnatural but just keep focused on the end result and keep talking about it, we're all here for you Jay.
