Update

Just to provide a quick update. I underwent a second surgery last week to remove the remainder of the cancer as unfortunately they did not get it all. I find out tomorrow the results of that surgery. Two surgeries in two weeks has taken its toll and I'm pretty exhausted and trying to take it easy (which isn't easy for me to do!). I'm now waiting (more waiting) for an appointment with oncology to discover my treatment plan for chemotherapy. In the meantime I'm consulting my naturopath and looking at embracing a raw / mostly vegan diet (as if I'm not fussy enough already!) and sorting out all my photos of kids for the last two years to keep my mind busy. Kids mostly ok except Little Miss being a tad naughty!! The whole cancer thing is very difficult to get my head around when the only thing making me unwell is the treatment for cancer. I'm trying hard to stay positive but it's not always easy with so much unknown. Thanks for all text, phone calls & emails - it helps :) I'll repost when I find out more about what's next...
