I hope they find both the cause and cure very soon. My family history is filled with cancer. My mum (twice BC), my Gran BC (mums mum), my grandfather (mums dad- prostate), mums brother Prostate, my grans dad BC. My grandfathers mum and 3 sisters BC, and his brother Prostate cancer..... then there's my fathers family! I'm so thankful my daughter doesn't have a BRCA mutation, but because of the sheer amount of cancer in our family, she is at increased risk. The BRCA mutation came from my mums dad- my grandfather, and most likely his mum.
