Upcoming lumpectomy

I have been finally booked in for my lumpectomy and sentinel node surgery 10th Jan. This has been about 6 weeks since I've been diagnosed so a long wait. I go in on Wed for per admission and Thursday for the radioactive tracer. I am a little worried as I have either bruised or broken my rib under the same breast where the BC lies. I am going to my GP on Monday to get his opinion on a chest X-ray. Will keep you posted.

  • Wishing you well on the 10/1 for your op. The wait must have seemed endless at times. Hope your x ray is ok, best of luck, take care and let us know how it all goes,

  • I hope also, that your X-ray isn't anything that will affect your surgery. The waiting is always the worst bit,and 6 weeks is a test! Not long now though. All the best with your surgery, and be sure to come back here and let us know how you go.xoxo Love Robyn.
