My hair was quite curly for awhile.It is only just lately that it's dropping to wavey and that took 20mths! I've had 3 trims so far to get the curl out. I had my full node clearance back in 2003 and from memory,it took years for my arm to settle down.It still doesn't feel the same as my"good"arm but I'm used to it and I try to remember to do lymph massage on it every other day which helps.If it aches at the end of the day,try wrapping from fingers up to armpit with a crepe bandage(or 2) and elevate it on a pillow for awhile.It's hard to believe it was a year ago when you had all that surgery.Yes,be patient and rest when you need to- it might take abit longer to get your mojo back.
