At least we are aware of these awful people acting on vulnerable people. Apart from that I was wondering if anyone else was surprised at the way their hair was growing back? I used to have slightly wavy hair now I think I need to go to the poodle parlour for a puff ball trim!!!!! It is so curly, tight curls on top and almost ringlets at the back........to think I can vaguely remember suffering my Mum wrapping my hair in rags to make ringlets for my kindergarten school ball!!!! Hmmmmmmm showing my age now maybe someone else had this experience???
I am still finding that my arm movement takes a lot of exercising to take the pain out if I have not been doing much for a long period of time also have a bit of swelling of my arm I am making enquiries to find a physio in town qualified to do the massage to see if that works before I take the step of being measured for a compression sleeve.
It is not a happy thought that after going through all the treatments etc that the results still seem to control my daily life. It is 1 year today since my mastectomy I am told that it is still early days but as usual I am impatient and want everything to just be normal, no debilitating tiredness, memory blanks etc.
