I only have a little numbness in my toes and on the ball of my right foot. It is almost 6 months since my last chemo and the numbness is still there. I was told it can sometimes take a year or more to improve and that some people always have a little numbness remain. I hope your starts to improve soon. I do a lot of walking so I don't know if this has helped.
I have had some trouble with my shoulder since radiation. I found swimming really helped this. I also still do the exercises for my arm everyday. I am now working on regaining the strength in the upper body, shoulder and arm through Pink Pilates. Medicare will subsidize the cost for 5 personnel sessions of this. I have been given a home program to continue with. I have found this to be extremely worthwhile. Pink Pilates is a combination of physio, massage and exercise to suit your situation.
